PTT Institute of Research and Technology in cooperation with the National Electronics and Computer Technology Centre will start a joint research on solar power generating.
The deal was inked today, to study the efficiency of different solar modules, particularly solar cells enough for the generating of 10 kilowatts-to which some were installed at PTT Institute’s premise in Wang Noi, Ayutthaya.
The results are expected to give hindsights which solar cell modules would be the most efficient and suitable for Thailand‘s climate and environment. This will allow investors to break even in a faster manner, and help increase the efficiency of existing projects.
Nectec further plans to translate the results into the industrial standards for the solar cell industry in Thailand.
