Politics: Matichon: Abhisit heads to Hong Kong with message “Populous policy leads to Coups”

Hong Kong to get a fresh taste of Abhisit’s hypocrisy?

  • By Ranger, Thai Intel’s political journalist

Just briefly, despite his populous record, Thailand‘s former prime minister, Abhisit, is heading to Hong Kong to trash populous policy, as leading to coup.

  • The move by Abhisit is obviously, to ride the establishment created wave of anti-populous policy in Thailand as a Fascist general is calling for a coup. So Abhisit, simply, for politics, is linking the two together, saying Populous Policy leads to coups.

Thailand ranks 4th globally in the number of coup stage, all of it, has very little to do with economic collapse, but with the establishment using a combination of corruption and protecting Royalism as the excuse.

  • Populous policy will lead to financial melt-down triggering coup,” reported Matichon, a newspaper for the progressive intellect, of what Abhisit said.

When Abhisit first came to power in Thailand, one of his first action, was to give every Thai adult a check amounting to 3,000 baht or about US$100 each-no string attached, in what most observer said was to “Buy” loyalty from the Thai people. That giving away money, cost Thai tax payers US$ billions.

  • “Instead of the rice subsidy scheme, Yingluck should just hand out money to the rice farmers,” said Abhisit recently, in criticizing Yingluck’s rice subsidy scheme.

Furthermore, when Abhisit first came to power, where a great many of Thaksin‘s populous program continued, Abhisit did not terminate them.

  • All Abhisit did was to “Change the Name” of the populous policies, in what most analyst said, was to “Make Thais Forget Thaksin” and remember “Populous Policies” as his.

Additionally, during the last election campaign, Abhisit promised a wide-ranging number of populous program, very similar to the current Yingluck’s program, including higher minimum wage and higher income for rice farmers with his subsidy scheme.

  • On “Populous Leading to Coup” comment by Abhisit, it reflects long-held Right Wing academic house like TDRI, that said populous policy will bankrupt Thailand, and TDRI said that even since the days of the Thaksin administration.

The fact is, it is the Democrat Party‘s let loose of the Bangkok International Banking Facility (BIBF) that saw Thailand’s short-term loan explode under the Democrat Party governing of Thailand, that caused Thailand’s financial melt-down. Then subsequently, the sale of defunct asset by the Democrat Party that saw massive corruption.

  • And it was Thaksin’s policy of hunting for investment and populous policy of injecting funds to the grassroots, meaning populous, that pulled Thailand out of the bottom of the economic crisis, that the IMF failed with its collapse of the Thai economy.

Why is Abhisit changing his words? Well, after a long consultation with Abhiait, Freedom Against Censorship Thailand calls Abhisit, in a major news head-line, quote: “A Liar.”
