- Inconsistencies:
This is just a short report, that on the social media, many are noticing the inconsistency with the Thai Royalist, when it comes to how they feel about the USA.
- Royalist hate USA:
First, it was Kristy Kenny’s Twittering about how Thailand‘s lese majeste law is not consistent with international law. And the Thai Royalist got so angry, they went to the USA’s Thai Embassy Facebook account, and blasted away. Then it was a protest at the USA Embassy.
“Thailand is unique with its own law that the USA does not understand,” said the Royalist.
Secondly, it was the terrorism warning, that all the far extreme right-wing press, all of them staunch Royalist, blasting away at how the USA, particularly the CIA did not consult with the Thai intelligence apparatus before issuing the “Terrorism Warning” on Thailand.
“Infringement on Thai Sovereignty,” was the headline of one of the far extreme right-wing Royalist press.
- Royalist love USA:
But when it came to the USA having a “Black List” on Malinee, just appointed a minister under Yingluck, the staunch Royalist press, like the Nation Group, is on a maximum attack of Yingluck, for that USA “Black List.”
Nation Group, is Thailand’s media group, that “staunchly” propagates heavily, the concept of a “unique Thailand, with a Thai Way.” Yet, the group, have led a fierce attack on Yingluck, on the Malenee “black list” situation.
- Americans under attack then loved:
One staunch Royalist press, here in Thailand, just went to do research on how the American business people view the “Black List” and have published on the social network, the reaction of USA business people.
If you are not familiar with the situation, the Royalist, is greatly angered by the American business community for years now, for calling for Thailand to liberalize the real estate sector and for the Marlboro cigarette, to have circumvented Thai tax and refusing to pay back tax.
“Stealing from the Thais,” said one far extreme right-wing press, in bold headlines, last year, when the Marlboro crisis hit maximum impact curve.
- Well, a conclusion?
How do one explain the Royalist gyrating, between hate of USA involvement with Thailand, like lese majeste-to a Royalist inciting USA law, with love?
It is a “Love and Hate” relationship between the Royalist Thais and the Americans. Maybe the USA, to kiss the Royalist butts, should just focus on releasing news that is bad for Yingluck.
