Justice: Thailand’s anti-corruption body to investigate Yingluck for “Management Failure” on Thai flood

  • You can really tell, that Thailand is “Failed State” when a corruption watchdog goes about investigating potential management failure, nothing to do with corruption-and most Thais in the country, does not catch the “Craziness” in the move-but accepts it, as apple pie and ice cream.

Khao Sod, a newspaper for the Red Shirts leaning Thais, reported in today’s paper that Thailand‘s national level, Anti-Corruption body, will investigate Yingluck’s handling of the current historic Thai flood, on “Management Questions.”

The Thai anti-corruption body, most neutral observer say, is part of the Thai establishment rule of Thailand, and most expect the body to find faults with Yingluck’s management of the flood-setting the stage for a possible out-law of her political party, the Pheu Thai Party.

The body has a track record of anti-Taksin leaning, and was the principle tool of the 2006 coup government in going after Taksin for corruptions.

  • The body, has a track record of accepting cases, that appear to have little to do with corruption in the past, and have cleared Abhisit, from a string of corruption cases-mostly involving Abhisit accepting a string of gifts that is valued above what the law allows.

As part of the investigation on Yingluck, the body will also investigate Abhisit for his management of the high level of waters kept in the mega-dams, heading into a rainy season.
