Well, they do not call Abhisit, quote: “The master of public image over substance” for any reason.
So local press reports Abhisit have went to make a visit on “All” flood hit Thai press and went to inspect the cause of the flood that hit the Thai press.
Here is an old report on Abhisit going to Bangkok Post, before the last election:
PM Abhisit visits the Bangkok Post
As I was leaving for a short trip to the bank yesterday afternoon I noticed the lobby of the Bangkok Post building was unusually busy – and for good reason.
There, in the middle of an enthusiastic crowd of mainly female Bangkok Post staff, was Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva with a big smile on his face. He was obviously pleased at the warm reception he had received.
There were no red shirts in sight but the prime minister’s motorcade did have to pass a Democrat campaign poster with the words “91 bodies” written over his face. Then the motorcade got stuck waiting for a slow-moving train to pass.
At the Bangkok Post, the prime minister told interviewers that it would be in the Thais’ best interest to vote for the Democrats in the general election and give it the 250 House seats the party needs to form a majority government.
”I will make a lot of changes and the people will get what they want from the Abhisit government,” Mr Abhisit said.
He said his administration in its first term had to work within tight limitations.
During the past two years, the government had faced constraints as a result of the economic crisis and had to spend the two years addressing economic disparities and social inequalities before the situation had eased, he said.
Mr Abhisit said political factors – including the riots over the past two years – had also constrained the government from working efficiently.
The party needed an overwhelming majority so it could work more efficiently, he said.
Mr Abhisit admitted that opinion polls appeared to be in favour of Pheu Thai but he called into question the figures by the Suan Dusit poll that indicated Pheu Thai was ahead of the Democrats by 51% to 34%.
He said a poll conducted by the Democrat Party showed the party was behind by no more than 20 seats.
Then the local press reports that Abhisit, told the local press, that he is very worried about the people of Thailand, being hit so hard from the Thai flood.
- “The flood is getting worse,” Abhisit tells the Thai press. Off course, Abhisit wants the Thai press to continue to make the flooding out to be as negative as possible-so that would reflect badly on Yingluck. Off course, Abhisit did not mentioned how out-side of Bangkok has improved, aince Abhisit, as always, is Bangkok-centric.
Like what is new with the “Master of Politics” being Abhisit.
Then Freedom Against Censorship does not call Abhisit a “Lier” for anything, as Abhisit gave a lot of facts about the Mega-Dams, that are just nothing but non-factual.
- “The level of water in the Mega-Dams are normal when I was the prime minister,” says Abhisit-as clearly, even idiots knows that the water level is anything but normal.
Well, off course, if Thai Intel readers are informed, as Thai Intel have been saying and saying-the Thai press are mostly anti-Yingluck and Pro-Abhisit.
- So this going to meet the flood hit Thai press, is off course, to remind the Thai press that have cared so much about him, that he also cares very much about them.
Again, if Thai Intel readers do not know, already:
- The Bangkok Post is pro-establishment and thus, inherently anti-Yingluck. Nation Group is the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party. Thai Rath, has also long been pro-Abhisit. Matichon is neutral, most of the time. Then the rest of the newspapers are entirely, pro-Democrat Party-except for Manager, which does not like anyone except for themselves. Thai TV, again, is as shallow as they come-but most of them have a very long track record of anti-Red Shirts history-which relates to Yingluck, indirectly.
