Matichon, a newspaper for the intellectuals here in Thailand, have been making reports of “Key” Thais, heading into this worsening Thai flood situation-but have also reported on the emotional state of these “Key” Thais.
The folowing is from Answer.com:
What does raw emotion mean?
Answer: Raw emotion mean how you respond to the question how are you feeling about the question at that time or how the responce is given back to the question it can also mean your reaction to say a movie like crying sad or mad it is diffrent for every one as every one has a diffrent result its about you or someones emotional feeling and how you respond to it
To give in to your emotions means, to let go. You can’t hold it anymore. You are sad, you let it get to your brain. Then that means that you gave into your emotions.
A)
Yingluck went to have an audience with (xxx censored xxx) yesterday-where it is the second time in recent weeks. In the first meeting, (xxx censored xxx), who had spent most of his working life on irrigation projects and arguably have visited every inch of Thailand, told Yingluck to speed-up water drainage.
- The meeting produced what most Thais have been used to from (xxx censored xxx) which is a very logical, controlled and as always the cutting-edge advice.
However, in this second meeting, (xxx censored xxx) told Yingluck, he was “Very Very” worried about the Thais and that this year, there is just “So So” much water. Then (xxx censored xxx) told Yingluck, again to speed up water drainage, but this time also to dig two additional canals in the near future so that a crisis like this will not happen again.
(Analysis: Thai Intel suggest readers who track such things, to focus on the pictures from the two meeting. All Thai Intel can say, is that the pictures indicates that this crisis, is one of the worse in Thailand’s modern history. The picture from the palace are officially sanctioned and are meant to convey a message to the Thais. As they a say, a picture says a thousand words)
B)
As for Yingluck herself, Matichon reports that Yingluck husband is “Very” worried about Yingluck. Mastichon quotes Yingluck’s husband, as saying, “She is very stressed because her help is not reaching everyone and when the phone rings, Yingluck will feel fright that it is another news of yet another water barricade breaking.” Matichon said Yingluck’s husband is observing Yingluck’s emotional state and providing support.
(Analysis: You got to give it to Yingluck. After a very long and hard campaign, straight into a government with no grace period but attacked at the maximum by the Democrat Party, and then a natural disaster at a historical level)
C)
Abhisit, Thailand’s former prime minister, that has this knack of turning everything into politics-went to Yingluck’s flood control center, with not appointment or giving prior notice, and offered to help. Matichon, reports, that Abhisit said, “There is no politics in what I am doing here and I am here to offer my experience in this time of national crisis.” As the opposition, Abhisit’s Democrat Party, when it comes to the flooding, have been offering many criticism/advice to Yingluck’s government-to which many have been accepted.
(Analysis: The Democrat Party just underwent a major change with a new party secretary, who said the party will not engaged in negative attack but shift to positive based advice giving. Matichon asked recently where is that new party secretary? The problem, is not that the Democrat Party does not have good things to offer to Thailand, but the problem is the packaging. So the good stuff inside the Democrat Party, have a great deal of difficulty shining through, because the packaging is very offensive. Then like really already, the authoritarian crack-down mentality needs to be change to democracy)
D)
The Thai army chief, Prayuth, who lead the military into the crack down of the Red Shirts, is now greatly involved in helping Yingluck with the flooding situation. However, Matichon reports that Prayuth came across a flood hit Red Shirts to which the Red Shirts blasted away at Prayuth. Matichon reports Prayuth was greatly hurt by the experience and said, “I am here to help and I have no color.”
(Analysis: Thai Intel’s advice to Prayuth, is take the hits, be strong, move on, and keep focus on positive energy. There is a cost to every mistake one makes, but the price does not last forever. Then secondly, Prayuth should try not respond too much to newspapers because they often do not reflect the truth and reality of the situation. So when there is a problem, Prayuth should go to the source directly and settle the problem, instead of waging a media war. Media war looks bad for Thai national security)
E)
Sukhumphan, Democrat Party’s Bangkok city governor, according to Matichon, like Yingluck, have been under tremendous stress and got massive criticism from the people of Bangkok. Sukhumphan, finally said in response, “I am not a Kongbeng (A Chinese God who can tell the future of the weather) and doing my best.”
(Analysis: If he sees this, Thai Intel wants to say, “Cheer-up Sukhumphan.” Thai Intel is a Red Shirts and Pheu Thai Party supporter, but at least for us here, we do not blame you and appreciate what you are doing. Keep up the good work and what will be will be. And if you need some Valium, Thai Intel have some. Following Thailand is like so hard on the emotions)
