The real big issue in Thailand, is democracy against authoritarianism. Yingluck, the Thai prime minister, represents democracy and Prayuth, the Thai military chief represents authoritarianism and coups.
Yingluck and Prayuth-comes from the different side of the equation-and are not exactly friends. Recently, for example, Yingluck went to a major Thai military establishment meet on Thailand’s national security efforts-but the top brass of the Thai military did not show up.
So obviously, the Thais are concerned.
But yesterday, Yingluck and Prayuth, for the first time-went inspecting the Thai flooding situation together-and from the TV reports-they actually seem to work well together.
Yingluck and Ptayuth, actually hopped into a open truck-and drove through several heavily flooded area-talking about the flood, pointing to this and that-and smiling to each other now and then-very cozy.
Who knows who set up the event?
But the attention focused elsewhere-and the event obviously failed-to convey the message it wanted.
That is because, the social network-is talking about a Thai Super-Star Actress, Pancake, who went along with Prayuth and Yingluck-on the trip.
The talk on the internet social network, is like:
- “Holy shit, who is that girl next to Yingluck.”
- “Pancake is more pretty than Yingluck.”
- “Prayuth must really be scared to face two pretty chicks at the same time.”
- “I want to see more of Pancake, forget Yingluck.”
- “Pancake outshines pretty Yingluck and hansom Prayuth.”
- “Is Pancake the other women of the Yingluck and Prayuth couple?”
- “I am in love with Pancake.”
- “Next election I hope it is Pancake for prime minister.”
And on it goes!
