5.50pm-Bangkok Post says the military scaring away support for amnesty bill, by Bally, this blog’s neutral national security analyst

Thai military says Thaksin can rot in hell, but the Bangkok Post just put Thaksin in seven heavens
- Bangkok Post tells of militaty back in politics
While Mark insists to tackle the economic problem first, before getting the underlying societal super-structure back to normal with attention to the Amnesty Bill, the military has come out to play politics again in Thailand-by “scarring away growing support for the Amnesty Bill,” says the Bangkok Post.
The Amnesty Bill is meant to free politicians, barred away from politics, as a result of the military written charter and the follow-up use of that charter to annihilate two of Thaksin’s political parties, as a way to rid the country of Thaksin’s influences.
- Anupong angry at Bangkok Post
For a while there, there were hopes that at least the military with shut-up and what ever they did, do it behind the scene. That was after Bangkok Post broke a major story that tells of how Anupong called in Nevin to pressure him to defect away from Thaksin-which lead to the formation of the Mark government. The news sparked an out-cry that the Mark government didn’t come from legit-democratic process.
Anupong was so pissed-off, after trying to deny the fact, that he said the military will shut-up from then on. This co-incided with the parliament calling in the military legal department and asked them if it was against military “stated rules” for soldiers not to get involved in politics. And the military legal department said it was against stated rules.
- Military silence built-up the pressure and soldiers finally blew its top and open fire
Well that silence built up the pressure inside several military high ranking people and finally it blew its top-blasting away at Thaksin with real “mean” words.
And then, that was followed by the civil servants at the Defense Ministry-trying to save the day-breaking again the rule not to get involved in politics-and tells a story about how the Amnesty Bill will not solve Thailand’s problem-meaning it will invoke the anger of the PAD. To that, today the Bangkok Post ran another really killer of an editorial, saying that Mark must stand up to the PAD and not let PAD go on a violent rampage again.
- Thai Military Put Together Mark Government and now Potentially Saved it from Falling Apart
The last time the military got involved in politics in a major way was at the crucial time when the last government melted away from a ruling on the PM, and a new government was being formed. The military, by Anupong, called in Nevin-who controls many MPs,-and got him to defect from the Thaksin camp to the Mark camp-through many means, according to a report by the Bangkok Post.
Again this time, according to Thai Rath and Matichon, the Amnesty bill has the potentials of breaking up coalition support for Mark. That is because many who backs the Mark coalition strongly support the Amnesty Bill-several coalition parties have members who are barred from politics like those MPs locked away in the House of 111.
However, according to the Bangkok Post, the military had scared away support for the Amnesty Bill, and thus “saved” the Mark government. So apart from putting together the Mark government, the military has also saved the Mark government.
- Military says Thaksin “rotting in hell on earth”
For the past few days, the Thai military, through the KorMorChor coup people have been making some very threatening bark at those who represents democracy and freedom. Such words include, “People like Thaksin should live and die a slow death from hell on earth.”
- Thaksin may be in seven heaven on earth
Though it is starting to look like people like Thaksin is in fact going into heavenly bliss on earth at the moment because even the Bangkok Post, long-time oriented towards the Amart system, just ran a editorial on the Monarchy and said Thaksin actually is quite loyal to the Thai King.
Thaksin was kicked out of Thailand by the KorMorChor coup, treated like a criminal, and now appears condemmed by the Thai military to die a slow death on earth and in hell-all of that mainly because the military thinks Thaksin doesn’t love and respect the Thai King.
- Anupong and his KorMorChor friends protects Mark from the voices of the people
But as Mark runs away from solving the underlying super-structure of Thai society, which is the twisted military constitution, and focuses on giving money to Thais as a way to bribe them into supporting him, in fact, the latest poll by Suan Dusit, says about 50% of Thais support fixing the military charter.
- Can Mark hear the people through the angry voices of the military?
What the poll found that may be particularly shocking to Mark, is that the people wish for a fair and neutral charter-not the current one that the out-of-control military drew up. Again, for Mark and the Amart forces, particularly the Thai military, the people say, through the poll results, ”We don’t want your constitution that is being use as a political weapon.”

PM Abhisit…You said it yourself that Thai people are expecting from your government administration, right? But do you realize what they really want “to see” at the very moment after the country have been down and out for years from the Coup on Sept.19,2549 and now from the Trouble Makers- MobMeeSen?
Do you consider by yourself that RECONCILIATION means:
1) Rewarding your member activists with “the yellow shirts” who’ve started the outlaw games to help making you become the government?
2) Checking after any movement of “the red shirts” but ignore to enforce the law to the ILLEGAL protests of the yellow one?
Your actions are just contradicted to your speech! Now you yourself are “the one” to restart the real “POLITICAL UNREST” to THAILAND from your DOUBLE STANDARDS!!!

Why does Barack Obama, the president of the U.S. shows his stand clearly to compromise with the middle east countries right after his inauguration? Because he wants PEACE to his country and prevents the nightmare of 911 not to happen to the American people again?
Does PM Abhisit understand how to compromise with Thai people in RED,the United Front for Democracy and against Dictatorships (UDD)? Could you confess to us why you have “to break up” Thai people DEEPER by rewarding your member activists with the People Alliance for Democracy (PAD) or the YELLOW shirts to get the post in your government?? Is this your tactic for “RECONCILIATION”???
How could you prevent the BLOOD SHED of Thai people if you insist to take sides and follow the WRONG SIGNAL from people behind the scenes to make you and your party become the government!!!
Actually it “should be” the time for you “to shine”? if it comes from TRUE DEMOCRACY and your own ability!!! I believe you know best who are behind the scenes to make this mission become possible for you and your party to become the government!!!
